Learner arrested for possession of drugs

Tsakani – A 19-year-old learner at Buhlebemfundo Secondary School was arrested for possession of dagga on Tuesday.

The school apprehended the teen and then called the police.

A teaching assistant was allegedly told about the learner having space cookies and dagga on the school premises.
Upon inspection, 15 small, plastic packets containing dagga were found in his school bag.

Tsakani police spokesperson, Sergeant Lerato Mngomezulu, said the suspect would soon appear in the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court.
