Good weekend for Kwa-Thema Cricket Club

It was a good weekend for the Kwa-Thema Cricket Club as all their teams won the games they played. The U8 played against Avion at Willowmore and won by 142 runs.

The U10 played against Vosloorus Cricket Club at the Kwa-Thema Sports Complex and won by 262 runs, while the U14 played against the Benoni Northerns at the Benoni Northerns and won by one run.

The first league team won by nine wickets against Geluksdal in Kwa-Thema. All these games took place on October 29. The Colts played Geluksdal in Kwa-Thema winning by one run on October 30.

The Kwa-Thema Cricket Club coach, Tebogo Gaduka, said: “We are happy for our teams to start their season with ruthless victories.

“We urge our parents to support their kids and learn cricket. Our community can take advantage of job opportunities such as scoring, umpiring and coaching.”
