Mandlethu learners win big at provincial math contest

The two learners excelled in the competition.

Tsakani – Mandlethu Primary School learners performed well at the provincial level mathematics olympiad.
The two learners, Nondumiso Khoza (10) and Dipuo Mapole (10), continued with their winning streak during the competition.
Khoza, who is in Grade Four, maintained first position by scoring 100% while Mapole, a Grade Five learner, secured third place.
The olympiad took place at Laerskool Die Ruiter in Roodepoort on September 17.

“As a school, we are over the moon about this achievement. We thank the parents for their unwavering support, not forgetting our SGB,” said departmental head Letta Nhlapo.
During the district level, Mapole maintained the number one position and Khoza went from position three to two, obtaining 100% for mental maths.
The district contest took place during August.
