Tsakani – Six men have been arrested in connection with an attempted hijacking last Wednesday.
A whistle-blower alerted the police about a planned hijacking by six occupants in a white Jeep on Balfour Road in Devon.
Tsakani police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu said police located the described vehicle while patrolling the R29.

“Police stopped the vehicle and searched all the occupants.
“One occupant was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm. Eight cellphones, R16 000, gloves and cables ties were also found,” she explained.
