Kwa-Thema – On Saturday at about 21:51, Kwa-Thema police officers attended to a fatal shooting incident at the corner of Nkosi and Matlatsi streets.
On arrival, they found bystanders who alleged a fight had broken out between two males and that one of them had been shot.
Witnesses also claim the deceased tried to intervene in an argument between the other man and his girlfriend.

“The suspect alleged there was an argument between him and the deceased.
“According to the suspect, the deceased then pulled out a firearm and they both wrestled for it.
“The suspect overpowered the deceased and shot him once in the stomach,” explained Const Nkululeko Magudulela.
It is alleged the 44-year-old suspect then threw the firearm on the roof of one of the houses.
The gun was recovered and will be sent for ballistic testing.
