Man arrested for possession of stolen goods

Police also recovered more grocery items hidden at two addresses in Duduza but no arrests were made.

Duduza – Police have confirmed a 25-year-old man was arrested for possession of suspected stolen property as police continue on a campaign to recover looted goods.
Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka said the man was found in possession of groceries and appliances suspected to have been looted from one of the supermarkets.
He was arrested at a house following tip-offs to police about people who may be in possession of items suspected to be acquired from the looting. Police also recovered more grocery items hidden at two addresses in Duduza but no arrests were made.
There is a continued effort to bring and maintain law to and order in the area.
The suspect will appear before the Nigel Magistrate’s Court soon.
