Shop ransacked during business robbery
Cash and cigarettes stolen during robbery at Struisbult shop
A Struisbult shop was left counting the costs after a robbery last Tuesday afternoon.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora said a man and his colleague were in the shop when three robbers burst in.

One of the robbers pulled out a gun and pointed it at the man, and the victims were ordered into another room on the premises.
The robbers then ransacked the shop, taking R4 000 and different brands of cigarettes.

One of the robbers fired a shot at the ceiling before they fled the scene.
No injuries were reported.
