Kwa-Thema- An 11-yearold girl was raped in Extension Six last Friday evening.
Information reported to local police indicates the girl’s mother noticed she was not at
home at about 5.30pm.
According to Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Sgt Media Khoza, the mother, while looking for her daughter along Mcakumbane Street, met one of her daughter’s friends who told her that her
daughter and a friend were dragged away by three men.

“She found them along Mlambo Street and asked what happened.
“They pointed out a house in Mlambo Street and the child claimed she was raped by three men.
“The victim sustained injuries and was assaulted with a brick to her face,” she said.
The perpetrators are apparently known to the victim.
Khoza said the police condemn such violent acts against women and children and will leave no stone unturned until the perpetrators face the full might of the law
