Tsakani – Zico Bashin makes a comeback to the music scene with a brand new song entitled Ngiyazisola, following a three-year break.
The former EKFM radio presenter and musician, real name Shadrack Maseko, says the new song is about love and relationships.
His stage name is a combination of his nicknames.
Bashin he got while he was still playing soccer and Zico was given to him by the late YFM radio personality Isaac Fana Khaba.

“The song is about a guy who is dating a girl in the neighborhood and his friends are warning him about her, but he refuses to listen.
“It is available throughout all digital platforms, fans will love it,” he says.
His musical journey dates back to 2003 in KwaZulu-Natal when he was part of a Kwaito group called AmaZicosyco.
Their music attracted lots of attention, it was played on commerical radio stations nationwide.
“I took a break from music because I wanted to gain more experience and focus on other things I love, like radio.
“I have been volunteering at EKFM for four years now.
“I feel better prepared to continue with my journey and venture into other interesting parts of my life.

“I have my eyes set on dominating radio charts with the new music and hopefully get a job at a commercial radio station,” he adds.
The new amapiano inspired single features DJ Lethu and G.T and has been getting airplay from various local stations.
The artist says being independent has taught him to motivate himself to work harder.
