Liquor stores make a come back
The re-opening of liquor stores within Kwatsaduza required patrons be patient and wait their turn to get into bottle stores.
Kwatsaduza – While the country remains divided with the decision to allow liquor sales many Tsakani residents braved the frosty morning weather on Monday to queue outside TOPS at Tsakane Mall.
The store opened at 9am, only 20 customers were allowed in at a time after having their hands sanitised.
Security workers were also assisting to ensure customers adhered to the social distancing regulations.
Joseph Kunyane from TOPS advised that customers be patient.
“I think now everyone is excited about the returning of liquor sales, but after this week I don’t think we are still going to be seeing such long queues.
“In the meantime we are asking all our customers to be patient with us and there must be patience among themselves to avoid unfortunate incidents,” he says.
