This book offers some great practical ideas and techniques on how to best overcome procrastination.

As a procrastinator myself, I was introduced to this author by a friend of mine in hopes to ‘cure’ me of my procrastination disease.

The author keeps it short and straight to the point with 21 steps on how to overcome procrastination and become productive.

The book is easy to read, with step-by-step tips and strategic plans which can be easily understood by anyone.

If you want to become more productive, struggling with procrastination and are in need for some motivation then this book is definitely for you.

Book review: Lina, the Duiker and the Dragonfly

Brian Tracy is a personal development teacher by profession, and has written over 70 books which have been distributed globally.

Eat that frog was inspired by Mark Twain’s famous quote, ‘Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day’.

Each chapter in the book introduces a different idea or technique, with the first one being if you have to eat two frogs, eat the ugliest one first.

Meaning, start each morning with the most dreaded tasks you are most likely to procrastinate on, going about your day knowing you’ve done it will make the rest of your day easy in comparison.

The book focuses mainly on using time management wisely, learning how to plan and goal-setting, as well as the power of writing things down.

There are different exercises from the first chapter to the end, which are quite helpful in my opinion as you can start immediately to implement some of the guidelines provided by the author and are able to critic whether they work or not.

Book review: The Rabbit, The Dark and the Biscuit Tin

The author is big on writing a to-do list, he emphasises the importance of writing everything down and following that schedule.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about time management, productivity, planning, self-development and people who struggle with finishing off what they have started.
