Kwatsaduza SAPS officers moved up the ranks

The officers were inducted into their new roles and senior officers explained what was expected of them.

Kwatsaduza – Kwatsaduza SAPS officers who have been waiting to be moved up the ranks were finally promoted to sergeants.

This is after a long wait of over 10 years while serving as constables.

Duduza saw 22 constables promoted while KwaThema had 23.

The officers were inducted into their new roles and senior officers explained what was expected of them.

Duduza station commander, Lt Col Bheki Mhlungu, says he is happy about the new appointments.

“This will help build the morale of our officers and also motivate new constables to work hard.

“The new constables will also get guidance from the promoted officers,” he explains.

Mhlungu told the officers that the promotions come with a responsibility to serve the community with distinction.
