“We are encouraging teams to work hard because we want our players to be absorbed into bigger teams.

“As the local sports confederation, we are also pleading with teams to unite and work together towards the better future of sports in the area.

“We should all remember that we are not in sports only for us but the whole community and a brighter future of sports in the area”.

Mayoyo urged local sporting codes to participate in tournaments held in the area to help develop other sporting codes.

“ We don’t want to see only one sporting code dominating, or for the confederation to be blamed for favouritism over the others,” he concluded.
