KwaThema – 27-year-old man was arrested during an intelligence-driven joint operation between the KwaThema SAPS, Germiston Flying Squad and Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department, on Friday morning.
Police were following a lead on the information received of a suspicious vehicle with male occupants in White City Section.

KwaThema police spokesperson Cons Media Khoza says the vehicle was spotted and searched and yielded positive results. Two unlicensed firearms and ammunition were found in the vehicle.
“ The suspect was arrested and detained in KwaThema SAPS, and will soon appear in the Springs Magistrate’s Court,”she adds.
