Church members donate toiletries to elders

Tsakane – Truth in Christ Ministries church members of donated toiletries to the elders of Tsakane Old Age Home on Saturday.
As part of their visit, they spent the day with the elders in a bid to renew them spiritually and bring hope back to them.

Organiser Vusi Mabena says they held a church session with them because many are unable to go to their church as regular as they used to because of their frail condition.
“We believe we have a responsibility towards community members, even those outside our church.
“It is sad to know that many of them don’t have family members visiting them to show them love.

“It is as if they are there on their own and society has forgotten about them.
“We are hereby requesting residents and anyone from the community to spare some time and spend a day with them to show that we still love them even in their old age,” he says.
