KwaThema – Construction workers at Nkumbulo High School were robbed of valuables and R75 470 at gunpoint on last Wednesday.
It is alleged at about 1.45pm the victim was in their temporary construction site offices compiling reports with his colleagues when the three men gained entry through the window.
KwaThema police spokesperson Const Media Khoza says the suspects allegedly demanded their cellphones, laptops, money, and threatened to kill them.

“The suspects then locked all the victims in one of the containers and fled the scene with items and cash to the value of R75 470,” she says.
Investigation is still ongoing, and police are urging the community to come forward with information that will assist with the investigation and lead to the arrest of the suspects.
