Powerlifting roadshow a success

The purpose of the event was to introduce locals to the sports and add variety to the choices residents have to get active in KwaThema.

KwaThema – Bafana Nation hosted a powerlifting roadshow at the KwaThema Square this past Saturday.

The purpose of the event was to introduce locals to the sport and add variety to the choices residents have to get active in KwaThema.

The event included lifting demonstrations and saw one member of Bafana Nation, Rachel Kgapola, pulling a car.

The founder of Bafana Nation, Bafana Manake, says the event went well and had a good turnout.
