Woman raped on her way from store
“The man threatened to kill her family should she do anything stupid."
KwaThema – A 23-year-old woman was raped by an unknown man while walking home from a local tuck shop on Tuesday evening.
It is alleged the suspect approached the woman and proposed love, but she turned him down. The suspect pulled out a silver knife and demanded that she follows him.

KwaThema police spokesperson Const Media Khoza says the victim allegedly refused to go with him, but he became aggressive.
“They both walked to Extension Six to a house that allegedly belongs to the suspect’s sister and instructed her not to make a noise.
“He then allegedly dragged her to Entokozweni Sports Grounds where he raped her.

Khoza says no one has been arrested and police investigations are still underway.
