Former Nedbank employee Nozipho Nkabinde has been sentenced to five years in prison for the theft of R382 000 from the branch in June last year.
The teller was sentenced last Wednesday at the Gauteng Regional Court.
Nkabinde was initially reported missing by her family after she failed to return from work.

Of the R382 000 that was stolen, R53 000 was recovered.
