KwaThema Fashion week is ready to put on another incredible display of art and design on May 12.
KwaThema – Steven ‘Vavo’ Mokoni, event founder and organiser, says they are ready for its sixth instalment.
“We have been working hard and the work never stops, but it is all worth it in the end.
“The event is not just about fashion but music as well.”
He believes the platform gives your models and artists a chance in the limelight.

“We have learned a lot from our previous shows and I know we are growing.
“Our talents are also getting better at their craft and we hope they will put the hood on the map soon.”
Last week the movement held auditions for models at Ndaba Tree.
“We want to make this about everyone.
“The movement will make a greater impact if we all put our best foot forward,” adds Vavo, an artist in his own right.
He says he will soon release the list of the artists performing at the event.
“I would advise people to keep their eyes on our social networks and everything will be unveiled soon.”
Fashion lovers will also have the opportunity to network with the designers showcasing on the day.
