Mother suspects daughter (3) was raped after finding bloodstains on her nappy

A mother took her three-year-old daughter to hospital after find blood on her nappy.

A female resident of Extension 2 KwaThema alleges on January 3, around noon she left her three-year-old daughter with her mother and went to work.

She then came back from work later that day at 8pm.

She decided to change her child’s nappy, only to find bloodstains on it.

Confused by this, she decided to take the child to the Far East Rand Hospital where she was advised to open a case docket for rape.

Captain Sibuyi says he will not rest until the suspect has been found, with the help of community members.
