Tsakane – Tsakane Crime Prevention has arrested a suspect (30) who was in possession of a suspected stolen vehicle at his panel-beating shop along Modjadji Street in Tsakane on Wednesday.
It is alleged the arrest came after the team responded to a tip-off during their day-to-day operations.
Tsakane police spokesperson, Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu, says the police identified the two stolen VW Golfs that were parked in the panel-beating shop.
“The suspect was arrested and will appear at the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court.
“We appreciate the community’s help in assisting the police to fight crime and keep the streets safe from criminals.
“We are calling on more help from the residents. They can also report cases anonymously on 10 111,” she says.
