KwaThema – A vibrant group of new ambassadors have launched the PhumlaniM Foundation in KwaThema.

PMF creates active leadership and mentors for the youth.

The non-profit youth empowerment organisation was founded in 2012 by Phumlani Mzobe.

Kwa Zulu Natal born Mzobe is a community activist, youth leader and philanthropist.

“We have expanded across South Africa due to its successful venture of positivity and change, which managed to spark an interest on social and print media.

There are prospects for more branches to be launched in the future, including Mpumalanga,” explains Mzobe.

Leaders of the organisation have identified the need for academic knowledge and have made the facilitation of outreach programs to educate township schools on career planning and development, one of its prime objectives.

He says other initiatives include various charity campaigns and donation drives to aid old age homes and orphanages.

“My vision is to create positive-minded youngsters who not only empowers themselves, but the community at large.

I aspire to create a generation of young people who become effective and motivated leaders of tomorrow with etiquette and presentation that is up to par.”

PhumlaniM Foundation wishes to thank all parents, guardians and families of the ambassadors for allowing the youngsters to be advocates of leadership and change.

“Their consent speaks volumes on their level of confidence in the foundation’s vision.”
