KTSEO is at it again

KTSEO is raising funds to assist students with registration fees in 2018 by hosting a gala dinner.

KwaThema – KwaThema Socio Economic Organisation (KTSEO) previously funded the registration fees of 42 students from KwaTsaDuza and now they are raising funds for 2018 beneficiaries.

“I am amazed at the amount of work we have been able to complete in such a short period,” says Andries Nkabinde, one of the directors of the organisation.

The organisation was established in August last year when professionals from KwaThema came together to see how they could assist the youth to better themselves.

“And that is how KTSEO was born.”

A bursary gala dinner is their main fund-raiser.

“We are very proud of the students who benefited from our first roll out – now we are focusing on a new group.”

Nkabinde says most of their previous beneficiaries are now funded by other bursaries.

In a feedback meeting earlier in the year, Gwena Bam, who sits on the education desk of the organisation, encouraged the students to do well and make the whole community proud.

“Don’t forget why you are in those institutions.”

One of the sponsored students, Edward Leshela, says the funding has made a big difference in his life and he is very grateful.

The fund-raising event will take place on October 20 at KwaThema Hall.

“We are appealing to business people from Kwatsaduza because these are our children.”
