Tsakane – Two men were found shot dead in Extension 5, in Rolihlahla Street in Tsakane last Thursday.
It is alleged the police went to the scene after receiving a call from the concerned residents who spotted the two deceased inside the vehicle.
On arrival, the police found two men inside the vehicle with multiple shot wounds.
Police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu says the two were declared dead by paramedics on the scene.
“The two were found inside a maroon Toyota Corolla with registration number CR 33FM GP.
“The eyewitness alleged he saw two suspects flee the scene on foot leaving behind the white Kia they arrived in.”
Tsakane police found, after investigating the ownership of the car, the car has been hijacked and the case is being investigated by Boksburg police.
Mngomezulu says thus far no one has been arrested in connection with the men’s deaths.
“The police are appealing to residents who may have any information about the suspects’ whereabouts to come forward,” she says.
