KwaThema – Ex-boyfriend assaulted and raped his ex-girlfriend last Friday evening.
The man found the woman at a tavern in White City and asked to speak to her outside.
It is alleged the woman didn’t have a problem with this because he was her ex-lover.
KwaThema police spokesperson, Sargent Thabo Sibuyi, says it is alleged the two walked outside.
“The guy asked her to leave the tavern with him but the woman refused and this angered the man.
“He started beating the woman up and forced her to go with him. By that time she was screaming and crying for help but no one came to her rescue.
“After being raped the victim got dressed, went to her friend, told her what had happened and they went to the police.
“The suspect has not been arrested yet. We are pleading with anyone who can help, to contact their Detectives on 011 812 4600,” he says.
