A push in the right direction for young entrepreneurs

Bonginkosi Sithole’s passion to help young entrepreneurs start and maintain profitable businesses was a result of his own trials not so long ago.

Bonginkosi Sithole’s passion to help young entrepreneurs start and maintain profitable businesses was a result of his own trials not so long ago.

“When I started my own business two years ago, I had many misconceptions about what I needed just to get it off the ground.

It all boils down to information.”

The twenty-five-year-old paralegal and founder of Khuthole Consultancy says he wants to create a platform for small business owners where they can get all the answers they need.

“Many young people have great ideas, but entrepreneurship is not simple. From compliance to execution, people need support.”

Bonginkosi adds that he knows experts, from law to accountancy, who provide clients with the best advice on business support.

He added that young people must stop complaining and start creating employment for themselves and other people.

He believes that all the opportunities are there for people to take full advantage of, and he will help direct them by providing relevant information.

He also mentioned that the agency mentored eight entrepreneurs last year, who have gone out to establish their businesses this year.

“I am also part of an organisation called SBOBA (Support Black Owned Business Association) which has an initiative to inspire Grade 12 learners from ekasi,” he said.

SBOBA will host their second annual ‘Grade 12 motivation’ on July 29, at KwaThema Hall and bring speakers that the learners will identify with, namely people who grew up in the same townships and went to the schools they are in now.

Bonginkosi says his work will not be done until every child who has a great idea has the support to see it become a reality.
