Tsakane – The police need the help of the community to trace the whereabouts of a rape suspect.

It is alleged that the suspect approached his victim from behind and threatened the victim with a knife.

Tsakane police spokeswoman, Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu, says: “He then pulled her to the nearby bushes where he forced her to lie down.

“He undressed her and started raping her and when he was done he fled the scene,” she says.

Mngomezulu says the suspect is aged plus/minus 30, tall, skinny and dark in complexion.

“He was wearing a brown beanie and a brown sweat jacket,” she says.
