It is alleged the victim had a fight with a woman in the tavern and was thrown out by the owner.
KwaThema spokesman Captain Thabo Sibuyi says the victim explains on her way home she was approached and grabbed by two men.
The men took turns raping her.
Sibuyi urges residents to refrain from walking alone at night, especially when they are drunk, because they become easy targets.
