The trio went to the surgery under the pretense of seeking a medical consultation.
They went to sit in the waiting area. One of them took a glass from the table and went out through the main door, but returned with a glass of water through another door.
When he returned, he found the doctor speaking to the other two men.

“The trio took out a firearm, pointed it at the employee and then forced her and the doctor into the consultation rooms.
“They demanded money and took the doctor’s iPhone, Rolex wristwatch and the employee’s phone.
“During the attack, another woman was able to enter the surgery. When she asked the men what they were doing, they ran away,” says KwaThema police spokesman Capt Thabo Sibuyi.
The value of the stolen possessions is estimated at R218 000.
