New head of KwaThema Police Station
KwaThema – The KwaThema Police Station welcomes its new acting station commander Lieutenant Colonel Mareketle Elsie Malapane.
The newly elected officer moved from Springs to start in her new position last week Tuesday, following the transfer to Heidelberg of the former station commander, Colonel Barry Mashaba.
And at this point Malapane will be in this position until a permanent station commander is appointed for KwaThema.

Malapane has welcomed the new appointment, saying she is pleased and ready to serve the local community.
“With the management and station as a whole, we are prepared to work for the community.
“I am also hoping to have a good working relationship with all members of the public, as it will not be easy to fight crime alone.

“This then means that fighting crime will need to be a joint effort by all,” she says.
