Learner does well in Maths Olympiad

Langaville – Nelson Cheman (12), a Grade Six learner from Langaville Primary School, has done well in the Maths Olympiad and secured second position in the district level.

He will be heading to the provincials to represent the east district in Winchester Hills.

Mathematics teacher, Landiwe Moswete, says she is very proud of her student who has shown his talent in the subject.

She says Cheman is a very smart boy who puts in the time and effort in the subject.

“I’m extremely proud of him for showing his commitment and love of the subject, to go as far as representing the school.

“I also thank the maths team for their contribution in assisting learners with maths problems.

“The school principal, Khosi Mahlangu, is also happy about his achievements and wishes him well.

“We are behind him all the way and have no doubt he will also do well in the provincials,” she adds.
