The supporters spent the day with the seniors and provided a cooked lunch meal for them.
“In celebration of Women’s Day, I asked for help from my partner Mncedisi Mnukwa (55), so we could do this since we no longer have parents.
“When he agreed, we then went on to ask for assistance from the branch.
“This was just our way of spending the day with the seniors and to show them some love,” says welfare officer of the branch, Gladys Mokhomo (54).
She adds that during their visit, they were fortunate to celebrate with gogo Catherine Sidibe from the home, who turned 93 years old on the day.
