Art exhibition in Tsakane

Sechaba Advancement Enterprise, in partnership with the Department of Arts and Culture, have dedicated time to equip learners from the school with art skills that can benefit them in future.

Vusi Yende, director of the organisation, says they are focusing on learners with mental disabilities who can still use their hands to work and create artworks.

The learners have been trained in poetry, drawing, painting and bead work which will be exhibited during the event.

“We call on community members, stakeholders and parents to come and see the beautiful work the learners have created since the beginning of the project,” says Yende.

The exhibition will start at 10.30am and artworks will also be sold on the day.
