Company donates to KwaThema school

KwaThema - A local engineering company situated in New Era, Springs donated much needed supplies to the Nkabinde Primary School last week Thursday.

The company donation included staff furniture, stationery, desk fans, water urns and a paper guillotine.

“The school educates some learners from poor backgrounds, most of who cannot afford to pay school fees and arrive at school hungry and depend on the feeding scheme for daily nutritious meals.

“About six years ago our company then stepped in to assist the school by donating stationery, palisade and paints, cleaning materials, computer equipment, playground equipment and furniture among other things.

“The group has also assisted the school with some financial aid towards the stipend of three workers who assist on the school’s feeding scheme,” says company spokesperson Tracy Lindsay.

School principal Humphrey Chiloane expressed his gratitude on behalf of the school and the learners by thanking the team for all they have done for them over the years.

“Over time we have built a great relationship with this team and are grateful for all they have done for us for the betterment of the school and its learners.

“We are very happy as numerous times we have asked for help and they always answered positively, hence we ask that they continue with us as the assistance truly helps in the development of our children,” he shares.
