Choral, classical and opera music for locals
KwaThema – Music lovers can brace themselves for an epic musical experience this weekend, when Artistic Choral presents a Music from the Heart Concert.
The reason for this performance is to revive the art of choral, classical and opera music in the community, explains public relations officer and a chorister of the group, Lucas Sepenyane.
“We are inviting music lovers and our supporters to come and support this initiative, as we want to reclaim our position and reassure our followers, as we have been away from the public eye for a while, due to some issues.
“We want them to know that we are still around, even after 18 years of existence.”
Sepenyane adds that this will also be a build up to their 20-year celebration, which will be in two years’ time.
“This will further be a way of giving back to the community for all their love and support over the years,” he says.
Sepenyane promises supporters nothing more than an extraordinary musical experience, where they will be spoiled for choice and not disappointed.
The performance will be staged at the KwaThema Old Age Home, from 2pm.
