Praying for women, children and substance abuse

Tsakane – The Union in Christ Church hosted a march against women and child abuse and drug and substance abuse.

The march, conducted together with the Metro Police recently, was to raise awareness on these social ills, to hand out pamphlets as a ways of sharing information with the community and to pray, praise and worship.

“The march began on Malandela Street to Modjadji Street robots while another group started at the circle at Rockville and another group started from Geluksdal.

“Reason for us raising such awareness is because these problems affect us all and therefore the whole community of Tsakane and the world needs to come together and fight them through prayer.

“It was also a start of a partnership in working together with our law enforcement officers, hence we are praying that the other stakeholders, including the business sector, will also join in,” says Apostolic Prophetess Emmah Sekgobela.

She adds that they are calling out to every person affected by these problems to unite in prayer.
