Ayoba thrash Dolphines

KwaThema – Ace Auto Ayoba trounced the Dolphins 6-1 in a nail-biting match last Sunday.

The SAB league match took place at the KwaThema Stadium where Ayoba fans came to see their team take victory.

Technical director Innocent Mayoyo, who was so anxious and eager for his club to win that he was too tense to sit down, was pacing up and down and coaching the players as they played the match.

In the first half, the game proved to be tough and both sides found it difficult to get any goals in.

Simphiwe Nthlengetwa scored the first goal to boost the confidence of the Ayoba fans who were screaming for goals to be scored.

The first stanza of the match saw Ayoba leading.

Minutes into the second half, Ayoba players were out to destroy the Tembisa Dolphins as Sandile Mahlangu scored a goal after an effortless formation.

Ayoba’s passes flowed from one player to the next making it impossible for the Dolphins to get hold of the ball.

Simphiwe Nthlengetwa extended the lead with a marvelous goal which was followed by a goal from the Dolphin’s minutes later.

Ayoba supporters expressed their joy through song, seeing that they were winning and thrashing the visiting team.

Ayoba boys were unstoppable in the goal department as Andile Foto scored a goal followed by Samuel Makofane.

Minutes before the referee blew the whistle, Nthlengetwa squeezed in the final goal for Ayoba making them winners of the match.
