Geo Maroon boxers ready for fight
KwaThema – Geo Maroon’s fighters Xolani Mvubu and Ronny Chiloane will be fighting in Kibler Park on Friday night.
Xolani will be fighting in the World Boxing Federation (WBF) elimination round, which will determine if he will be going to the WBF SA title round.
He will be fighting in the middleweight division for which his in perfect shape as he currently weighs 72.58 kg.
Xolani will be trading punches with North West’s Bongani Mnotwa, who is known for his knockout wins.
“His reputation for knockouts doesn’t put any fear into me because I know that when I get into the ring I’m there for a win.
“I view this as a practice round to determine how ready I am for the WBF title,” says the boxer.
Being a fairly new professional boxer, Ronny will be fighting in the bantam division in a non-title fight.
Since he started fighting professionally he has won four and lost two fights, which makes him eager to win the upcoming fight.
Coach Themba Zulu confidently says his fighters are in great shape and there is no reason why they shouldn’t win their fights.
“We have done all the preparations and the boxers know what to do, so I’m sure they will be fine in the ring” says Themba.
