Never to young to follow your dream

KwaThema – It is not everyone in life who can say that they have been fortunate enough to follow their dream and do what they love, in their teen years.

But Lesego ‘Padda’ Padi is already helping manage the musical careers of two of his friends, at just the age of 19.

Referring to himself as the ‘manager’, he says: “I am a manager for both Leago ‘Equiv Smalz’ Moganedi and Thabiso ‘Tee Skillz’ Vilakazi.

“I met Moganedi in my high school years, while Vilakazi and I met in primary school as we used to share the same transport.

“My aim is to push both of these two artists so they can achieve their dreams of becoming famous rappers.

“Many supporters for both rappers have also listened and heard the beautiful talent that these guys have and they enjoy their work,” he says.

Padi asks anyone out there to help both his artists, even if it’s with gigs, sponsorship or any musical deals that are needed, so they can grow.

He adds that his wish is to see his two artists reach their full potential.

“There is a quote that says ‘If you can dream it, you can make it’, so I encourage other rappers and singers not to give up on what they are good at.

“We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone,” he says.

In addition to his exceptional management skills, Padi says he is hoping to soon venture into business with his mother and to further his studies in logistics.
