Locals invited for picnic celebration
KwaThema – On December 16, Dovola and Friends will host a pre-party jazz session prior to their January 1, 10th Jazz Picnic to be held at the KwaThema Stadium.
The pre-party session will be at the KwaThema Indaba Tree Heritage Park from noon till late and admission will be free of charge.
“The event next Wednesday is just for adults. However, the upcoming the January event will be a jazz day for the entire family,” says founder Dovola Mabena.
“And, since we want to plough back into the community with the January event, we are calling upon all those interested in putting up stalls to join us on December 16, to register and to listen to the plans for the bigger event.
“Those who want to bring their children to the January event should also come to the Indaba Tree Heritage Park, so they can hear what is in store for the children in January,” says Mabena.
