Deputy principal of the school, Joey Kodisang, says that through this initiative they are trying to motivate all their learners so that they can perform better in class.
And the annual event includes learners from Grade One to Seven, with only the top six performers in each grade receiving prizes.
The top performer in each grade gets a trophy while second to the sixth top achievers are awarded certificates.
“To all those learners who didn’t achieve as they had hoped to in this academic year, they must not lose hope but just do introspection and fix where they went wrong as it is not the end of the road. Education is a marathon and not a sprint.
“And to all those who have done well, keep on doing your best and don’t be pompous, but just keep reaching for the sky,” says Kodisang.
