Giving upcoming artists a platform to shine
KwaThema - Craft of Worship, which was launched last year in KwaZulu-Natal, will be coming to the KwaThema Central Methodist Church on November 7.
The purpose of the event, which starts at 5pm, is to give exposure to talented artists from the area who are not yet famous in the music industry.
“Over the years, we have identified a number of young people from this area who have a lot of talent.
“So now, as the team from Craft of Worship, this will be our way of playing our part in giving back to the community.
“This is not aimed at targeting well-known artists, but we want to discover and give exposure to those who are talented and upcoming,” says musical director of the event, Oupa Sethela.
He encourages the community to attend and believes this will be a great and positive start to the festive season.
Sethela concludes by saying that there will also be some guest performances at this gathering.
