A victory for Tsakane
Tsakane - Last Sunday, Tskane beat Deep Level 1-0 in a Tsamaya League game played at the Malandela Grounds.
Spectators came out in their numbers to support the teams and to cheer them on.
In the first half both teams remained competitive and did not allow the opposition any opportunity to get a goal past them.
Tsakane picked up their pace and made it tough for Deep Level to get any closer to the net, leaving both teams with no goals in the first half.
The many fouls and offsides caught by the referee proves that the teams were chasing goal opportunities throughout the second half.
Tsakane kept on trying to net a goal that would put them in the lead and eventually Thabiso Radebe (33), managed to nudge the ball past Deep Level’s goalkeeper, putting Tsakane well in the lead.
Deep Level was granted a penalty that could have been an equaliser but Tskane’s goalkeeper proved to be one step ahead.
Moses Poswa, Deep Level’s coach, says he is happy with his team’s performance and that they played good football but were unlucky not to get a goal.
