Walk to promote a healthy life style

Duduza - The Sonqoba Simunye Men’s Burial Club will host a 8km fun walk under the theme 'Taking Care of Your Health' on September 24.

The purpose of the walk is to promote a healthy lifestyle and for the community to take better care of themselves and their health.

“We are inviting other burial clubs and the community to join us on the day, as this will be our first time having the walk.

“This includes women, youth and children,” says event coordinator from the club’s sports committee, Mthetheleli Mini.

Everyone will assemble at 8am for registration at the Zamani Park.

The walk will then start at 10am at the Zamani Park near the robots.

The route will be as follows: from robots near the Duduza Police Station, turn right to Selepe Street, proceed to stop at Delange Road and turn left to robots at extension 15.

At the robots of the multipurpose centre, walkers will proceed along Mandela Drive and back to the robots where the race will have started.
