Handball coach heads to the All-Africa Games
Daveyton - National handball coach for the South African women's team, Lee Mdakane (36), will be heading to the Democratic Republic of Congo for the All-Africa Games on September 16.

Since his team did not qualify to participate at the games, his trip will be a learning experience.
The games are being held in Brazzaville
He will be attending coaching symposiums and hopes to learn even more about the sport.
“Handball is still a young sport in our country and the more knowledge we gain about it, the more young people we can train to participate,” says Mdakane.
He believes this will be a great opportunity for networking and gaining new playing methods and styles about handball.
Mdakane, who is also a coach of the Daveyton Handball Academy, invites young people to join the club.
