Verbal Warning prove their champion status

Tsakane - Siyadlala Cup champions Verbal Warning took on Highland in the Tsamaya Masters Football League at the Malandela Grounds in Tsakane on Sunday.

The cup champions lived up to their champion status and played electrifying football from the start and trounced Highland 2-0.

They dominated the ball position, putting Highland under pressure to defend more.

Throughout the first half, Highland was not given any opportunity to get close to the net.

The score at the end of the first half was 0-0.

Coming onto the field in the second half, Verbal Warning put even more pressure on Highland.

Matchmaker and goal machine, Jabulani ‘Botende’ Ndela (39) from Verbal Warning, scored the first goal of the match, putting his team in the lead.

The game became intense as Highland sought an equaliser, but Ndela proved to be unstoppable and scored a second goal minutes later.

Highland failed to score and the referee blew the whistle ending the game.
