Retired pastor dies
KwaThema- Bishop Moses "Bra Mos" Kubheka died after a long illness on July 4.
Kubheka was born on October 28, 1928 in Daggakraal, Mpumalanga.
In the early seventies Kubheka founded the Republican Free Church where he served as a pastor for several years.
He retired from his pastoral duties in 2014 and amalgamated his church with the Swedish Free Church.
Kubheka worked for Inter Alia, Raleigh Cycle and Pilkington Brothers before he retired in 1993.
He was also a member of the Springs Taxi Association.
Kubheka is survived by his two daughters, Thandi and Thembi Kubheka, his son Lucky Kubheka, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 11.
The church service will start at 7.30am and will take place at the Swedish Free Church in Kotane Street.
The cortege will leave for the KwaThema Old Cemetery at 11am.
