The arrest occurred after the victim arrived home, at around 6pm, and noticed that one of the windows on his house had been forcefully opened.Captain Mandla Phori, KwaThema police spokesman, says the victim discovered that his washing machine and two heaters had been stolen.
Police were called and the suspect was later arrested.
He was charged with housebreaking and theft and is expected to appear in the KwaThema Magistrate Court soon.
