Dress for success

Dressing for the occasion should not be too hard.

I assume we know what we need to wear when going to a business lunch or a cocktail party.

Being underdressed may put out a wrong impression about the person you are.

Do you think you would be taken seriously by the people who are present there? I doubt it.

The way you dress does leave an impression on people, whether we like it or not.

What is going on in parliament is mind boggling.

For honourable members to come in, dressed like garden workers and domestic workers still doesn’t make sense to me.

We all received the same invitation and I believed the dress code was highlighted.

Wearing jeans, T-shirt and sneakers is not formal as far as I know.

A wedding is a special occasion which you are invited to.

We normally don’t realise that we lose jobs because of the way we are dressed when going for the interview.

You cannot expect to make an impression when you haven’t even bothered with the way you look.

I believe that certain colours are symbolic for certain occasions.

What really makes me cringe, is people who go to funerals wearing bright colours or florals.

Has it occurred to them that we are morning the dead and not going to a pool party.

Yes, it’s good to express yourself through the way you dress, but respecting the environment you are in needs to be taken into consideration

We all have different personalities which come alive in the way we dress.
